The Bachmeier clan, one of the larger families in Krasna in terms of numbers, comes from Baden-Württemberg; Stump mentions the villages of Wössingen, Mühlberg/Mühlbach and Sinsheim.
According to some researchers in the USA1 the clan can be traced back to 1619.
Wolfgang Narhmar Bahrmak 1619-1707 ⚭ with Eva Maria ? 1619-1689
Jakob Friedrich Bomayr 1669-1733 ⚭ Maria Christiane Dillwein 1671-1742
Johann Bachmeier 1711-1792 ⚭ Maria Latschka 1716-1800
Anton Jakob Bachmeier 1758-1815 ⚭ Maria Barbara Wendel 1762-Deceased
But these first three generations are not one hundred percent certain, church records are missing. We only have reliable data from Anton Bachmeier * around 1758 onwards. The family had subsequent children in Baden.
Anton BACHMEIER * ca. 1758 - Mühlbach, Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg
† befor 1812 Kleinliebental, Grossliebental, Odessa | Jossypiwka, Owidiopol (Ukraine),
Married before 1790, Mühlbach, Sinsheim, Baden Württemberg (D), with Maria ...(BACHMEIER)2, * ca. 1765.
Your children.
Anton Bachmeier * 1758 emigrated with his family to southern Russia in 1803. They went to Kleinliebental in the district of Großliebental (Bolschoja Akarscha): 15 - 25 kilometers west of Odessa, with the colonies Alexanderhilf, Freudental, Großliebental, Gueldendorf, Lustdorf, Neuberg, Peterstal, Franzfeld, Josefstal, Kleinliebental, Mariental.
The wave of emigration to the Black Sea region began in 1803. Those wishing to emigrate from Alsace, the Palatinate and Baden could register at specially established collection points in Frankfurt, Rothenburg, Regensburg, Ulm and Lauingen on the Danube. Those wishing to enter the country had to present "passports, certificates or other documents issued by magistrates or municipalities, which should certify the good conduct of the person presenting them".
Anton Bachmeier Sr. himself must have died shortly after arriving in southern Russia, because his wife Maria was married very early on to Franz Däschle, with whom she lived with her children. Däschle's first wife Ottilia Singer died in 1804.
This means that Anton Bachmeier Sr. was no longer assigned a farm.
As I said, the rest of the family initially lived in Kleinliebental on Franz Däschle's farm:
Mother Maria ..., age 55 years,
Her children with Anton Bachmeier (age given in the 1816 census):
The three sons soon moved to Josefstal.
M Michael BACHMEIER 1813-1893
M Johannes BACHMEIER 1815-
M Anton BACHMEIER 1817-1882
A large part of this family remained in the Odessa region. But three sons of Anton Bachmeier *1790 went to Krasna. They arrived around 1843 in a group of 25 families from the Odessa region. There was not enough land for farmers in the Odessa region. Places became available in Krasna because at least 16 families moved abroad or to other colonies around 1843.
The move of the Bachmeier sons to Krasna is documented
